Synthetic Land

Synthetic Land is a fake outdoors built indoors: plastic grass, walls painted like sky and humming office lights, laid out as an endless grid of fields and corridors. The fields are full of Animatronic Cows. Chilled Cow's plush hides in one of the boarded-up brick houses.
- Plushie: Chilled Cow
- Threats: Animatronic Cows, Nightmare Chilled Cow

Getting in and out
- Way in: sleep in a Chilled Cow's Bed at night. They generate in plains and meadows.
- Arrival: an always-lit field, with a Dream Compass and two notes by the bed.
- Way out: sleep in any Chilled Cow's Bed here, any time.

What you'll find
- Fields of synthetic grass and flowers, joined by narrow corridors.
- Red-brick houses, doors and windows boarded up — the plush is in one of them.
- Staff rooms: small sky-brick offices with vents.
- Whole dark zones where the ceiling lights are dead.
- Loot: Chilled Cow's diary pages, the Chilled Cow disc, and sometimes the Birdy note.
Animatronic Cows

The fields are full of Animatronic Cows, each frozen in its own pose. Most never move, but about one in ten is alive: it walks toward you, and freezes the instant someone has it on screen.
- Seeing just its legs or its head is enough to stop it.
- Cross the fields walking backwards, eyes on the cows. With friends, one of you watching covers everyone.
- If one reaches you, you wake up at home: "The cows were never real... right?" You lose the Chilled Cow plush you were carrying.
The event
Pick up the plush and, a few seconds later, the lights go out in a wave around you. In the dark, the Nightmare Chilled Cow arrives with a scream. The lights come back dimmer, but the corridors stay dark.
- It walks the corridors and smashes blocks you place in its way.
- The farther behind you it is, the faster it goes.
- If it catches you, you wake up at home and the plush is destroyed.

The Nightmare Chilled Cow never leaves the corridors, so the fields are where you hide — but it looks into every big opening it passes. It never checks the small brick holes.
