Six tools, and the manual. Two of them do most of the work: the Coaster Wrench changes settings, the Coaster Brush changes the look. If you only learn two things here, learn those.

The Roller Coaster Guidebook explains every block from inside the game — hold an item and interact with the book to jump to its page. It, Coaster Settings and the Coaster Crafter are the only three recipes you can make at a normal crafting table. Everything else needs the Crafter.
